This is a great collection of stories. Andrew Cull hasn’t been on the scene long, but he’s already making an impact. The unease creeps in right away. The stories are unnerving. Each story brings something different to the table, making it a well-rounded collection.
Did You Forget About Me? This was my first experience with Andrew Cull. It scared the hell out of me. It gave me shivers. Great story!
Hope and Walker is a creepy ghost story set in a funeral home. The dead start talking to the young lead character. She is a great character. I was fully invested. Great story!
The Trade is unsettling. Offerings and sacrifices will be made. I can’t get that image out of my mind. Great story!
Knock and You Will See Me is about a father’s death. Notes begin to appear all over the house. Great story!
I have said it before and I will say it again. Andrew Cull is here to stay. He can write. His voice is distinct. I dig his writing style. His stories are all different. His stories scare me to death. This short story collection is strong. There isn’t a bad story in this book. I look forward to reading Andrew Cull’s future work.
