I have read quite a couple of stories by this author, and this is one of his best yet. HAMMURABI ROAD is a tale of revenge gone horribly wrong. A couple of friends plan to kill a man for burning down a hotel that killed several people.
The guys have a run-in with a big ass bear. They wrestle and punch it in the face. They end up killing the bear, but it comes back to haunt them. They continue to the train tracks to rid the world of the hotel killer. The guys start having their doubts about their suspect.
This was was a fun read. The dialogue makes the story. The scenes jump off the page. The details of the story are incredible. The characters are solid. I enjoyed the ending, too.
