{Book Review} Harlequin Midnight by S.E. Casey

S.E. Casey delivers a delightful scare! Harlequin Midnight is about an annual terror. Each Halloween, the city of Grimaldi endures a phantasmagoric children’s play.

A father is waiting for his son to get home before midnight on Halloween. The clock is about to strike midnight, but his son still hasn’t arrived home safely. The father goes out into the deserted streets, searching for his son who is all but lost to the Harlequin. I will stop there because I don’t want to give away that spectacular ending. There’s nothing like a good old-fashioned annual sacrifice.

The cover is dope. The writing is great. The characters feel real.

Highly recommend!

4/5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
