{Book Review} Meat by Bones Monroe

Emmet takes it upon himself to keep his neighborhood respectable and safe. Emmet starts seeing strange individuals entering but never leaving his neighbor’s house. He thinks that something bad is going on next door. Emmit and Clara, his wife, see a little boy go into their neighbor’s house but never leaves, so they take it upon themselves to investigate. They will not stop until they rescue the innocent boy that is trapped in their neighbor’s house.
I have to admit that this is my first time reading a book by Bones Monroe. I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading this book. This story makes you think long after you are done reading it. I wish the author would have gone into more detail about one thing, but I don’t want to spoil anything so I will stop there. Overall, this story was good. I would like the author to write a sequel or a prequel to this story, but if he doesn’t that would be fine too. I will definitely read more of Bones Monroe’s work.
I recommend this book to fans of horror!
4/5 stars!
