{Book Review} Kin by Kealan Patrick Burke

Kealan Patrick Burke is a horror genius! Kealan Patrick Burke starts his book after the main event takes place. This book is about the aftermath of that horrific event. He looks at the people who were directly impacted and their kin. This is also an atmospheric read. This book is not for the faint of heart. Kin is an emotional world wind rollercoaster ride that delves into the minds of those seeking retribution, the abused, and a cannibalistic family who live in the backwoods of Alabama.

The different viewpoints make this book truly great. I have never felt sorry for all the characters involved in a story before. The author does a great job of pacing the story. This is the first book that I have read by this author, but it won’t be last. I will definitely read his other work.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes horror!

5/5 stars!
